When you order from Whitewater Beef, you receive mouth-watering cuts of meat, from cattle in peak condition and quality. Our cattle are raised in the Sandhills of Nebraska on our multi-generational ranch. They are grass-fed, grain-finished and harvested before 28 months of age. We also dry-age our beef for at least 14-21 days for maximum flavor and nutritional value. All meat is vacuum-sealed and frozen immediately after processing, ensuring consistently high-quality beef straight to you.

Learn More About Ordering

Buying wholesale beef directly from a rancher is healthy, economical, and sustainable. We’ve made things simple by offering a straightforward e-commerce option that streamlines the purchasing process. Items marked with asterisk (*) applicable to larger wholesale shares only.

1. CHOOSE YOUR AMOUNT

Choose the amount your wish to purchase — a whole, half, quarter, or bundle of beef — from the product area above.

2. SELECT YOUR CUTS*

When you click “purchase” (when ordering a larger share), you’ll be directed to a cut sheet, where you’ll select the options you wish to receive in your upcoming order.

3. SUBMIT PAYMENT

For the Bundle options, purchase your beef today for one set price. For larger wholesale shares, place a deposit today; total cost, due later, will be determined by final weight of the animal.

4. WAIT FOR PROCESSING

Your beef will be harvested and butchered by one of our two local butchering and processing partners. Processing time can vary according to season and other factors.

5. PAY YOUR BALANCE*

For larger wholesale shares only, you will be invoiced for the final balance of your purchase, including the total cost of your meat according to the weight of the animal, processing fees, and delivery.

6. PICKUP, DELIVERY OR SHIPMENT

Your purchase will be packaged to insure that every cut of meat remains frozen and at a maximum level of quality and freshness. Please transfer your meat to a freezer ASAP!

Beginner’s Guide to Shares, Cuts & Prices

When purchasing from Whitewater Beef, it’s important to understand what you are buying. Wholesale beef is sold in portioned fractions of an animal, called shares.

For Bundles, you will pay one set price upon purchase, which includes your beef, processing, and shipping, with no additional fees or transactions. For Wholesale shares — whole, half, and quarter — total price is determined at harvest, by weight of the animal (see estimates below). The final price of your order for larger shares will include the cost of your beef, plus processing fees, plus delivery or shipping costs (unless you pick up directly from the processor).

During processing, the animal is broken down into what are called primal cuts, the main areas of the carcass which include the loin, rib, round, flank, chuck, and sirloin. From there, meat cuts are butchered into steaks, roasts, and other individual servings of beef. The amount of meat and cuts you receive will depend on the amount of your share and the preferred cutting options you select.


What To Expect In Your Order

The Cowboy’s Favorite Bundle

Average take home weight 17-19lbs.

  • Four Ribeye steaks; Six New York Strip steaks; Two Chuck steaks; Two Tenderloin Steaks; One package of canoed marrow bones and Four pounds of single source dry aged Ground Beef

  • All steaks are USDA certified retail cuts. Each steak is cut 1 1/2” thick and come 1-2 per package.

Ground Beef Bundles

Average take-home weight 30 lbs. All ground beef is USDA certified retail packages.

  • Ground beef, in 1 lb. packages 85/15 fat content.

Rancher’s Share

Average take-home weight: 60 lbs. Final amount and cuts may vary by size and weight. Requires minimum 2-3 cubic foot of freezer space, approximately the full capacity of a typical refrigerator freezer.

  • 12-14 lbs. of ground beef, 2-4lbs ground beef patties, 2 chuck roasts, 1 arm roast, 2 packages of New York Strip steaks, 2 rump or Pikes Peak roasts, 1 round roast, 1 skirt steak, 1 package of ribeye steaks, 1-2 package of sirloin steaks, 1-2 packages of cube steaks, 2 packages of stew meat, 1 package of soup bones, 1 package of marrow bones, 1-2 packages of stir fry meat, 1-2 packages of kabob meat. Can also include fajita meat or flank steak.

Ground beef in 1 lb. packages; steaks 1” thick, two per package; roasts around 2-3 lbs.

Sandhills Bundle

Average take home weight: 30-33lbs, final amount and cuts may vary by size and weight. Requires a minimum of 2 cubic foot of freezer space, approximately half the capacity of a typical refrigerator freezer.

  • 6-10 lbs of ground beef, 2 arm or chuck roast, 1 package of New York Strip steaks, 1 rump or Pikes Peak roast, 1 skirt steak, 1 package of sirloin steaks, 1-2 packages of cube steaks, 1 package of stew meat, 1 package of soup bones. Can also include fajita meat and/or flank steak.

Ground beef in 1 lb. packages; steaks 1” thick, two per package; roasts around 2-3 lbs.

  • 1 Picanha Roast, 1 Skirt Steak, 1 Hanger Steak, 2 packages of unseasoned Fajita Meat, 2 packages of our single source dry aged 85/15 blended Ground Beef.

  • All cuts are USDA Certified and sealed in premium vacuum packaging. Dry aged 14-21 days.

The Top Hand

Average take home weight 10-14lbs, final amount may vary by size and weight.

  • 2 Sirloin Steaks, 2 Arm Steaks, 2 Chuck Steaks, 2 packages of unseasoned Kabob Meat, 2 packages of Stir Fry Meat 2 packages of our single source dry aged 85/15 blended Ground Beef.

  • All cuts are USDA Certified and sealed in premium vacuum packaging. Dry aged 14-21 days. Steaks cut 1” thick and come 1-2 per package.

The Cow Boss

  • Average take home weight 9-11lbs, final amount may vary by size and weight.

  • 1 Tri Tip roast, 1 Flank Steak, 1 Hanger Steak, 1 package of Korean Style Short ribs 1 package of Tenderloin medallions and 2 packages of single source ground beef.

  • All cuts are USDA Certified and sealed in premium vacuum packaging. Dry Aged 14-21 days.

Val’s Paw Pack

Average take home weight 11-14lbs, final amount may vary by size and weight.

  • 3 packages of liver, 1 package of heart, 1 bog of bones, 1 oxtail.

  • All cuts are USDA Certified and sealed in premium vacuum packaging, bones may or may not be vacuum sealed. Dry aged 14-21 days.


Wholesale Beef Shares

On your cut sheet, you will choose one of three processing options:

  • Ground Beef Only

  • Steaks & Ground Beef (includes Ribeye steaks, NY strip, filet, sirloin, flank and skirt steak, plus bone-in short ribs, brisket, tri tip or Coulotte roast with the remainder in ground beef)

  • Rancher's Experience (includes steaks, roasts, and ground beef; steaks — ribeye, NY strips, filet, sirloin, flank and skirt steak; roasts — chuck, arm, inside round, outside round, eye of round, sirloin tip, tri-tip roast, and Coulotte (Picanha Roast) roast; ground beef, bone-in short ribs, brisket, soup bones and marrow bones

On your cut sheet, you will be given options such as ground beef package size and rib cut, depending on your package.

Storage note: As a general guideline, one cubic foot of freezer space allows you to store between 35 and 40 pounds of packaged meat. Please plan for storage accordingly. We do not recommend that you purchase larger wholesale shares of beef if you do not own a standalone freezer.
