To reserve a whole, half or quarter share, choose your preferred amount and delivery or pickup option, and click the “place deposit” button. You will then be directed to a form to select your preferred cuts of meat. At the secure checkout you will make a deposit, with full payment of the remaining balance due when final price is determined, after harvest and processing. You will receive a payment confirmation within 24 hours via email, which will include further details about your purchase and the process involved for pickup or delivery, and final payment instructions.

Can be processed at a USDA certified processor or available for custom exempt processing.

Below are the estimated final cost of each order size. Final amounts are determined after the animal has been harvested and the final weight has been determined. If you amount is larger than our estimations than your animal was larger than our average thus you will receive a larger amount of meat. If your amount is less than our average your animal was smaller and you will receive a smaller amount of meat. Each individual animal is sold by their final weight at harvest.

  • WHOLE: Average 800-900 lbs., estimated $3,480-$4000 final price, $350 deposit today

  • HALF: Average 400-475 lbs., estimated $1,750-$2,100 final price, $300 deposit today

  • QUARTER: Average 200-250 lbs., estimated $930-1150 final price, $250 deposit today


DELIVERY / PICKUP OPTIONS

  • Delivery: Your order will be transported in a freezer trailer and available for pickup at one of our preselected delivery sites in Nebraska (Arthur, Ogallala, North Platte, Kearney, Lincoln and/or Omaha), or the greater Denver area (specific location subject to demand). Best for residents of Nebraska and northeastern Colorado (as indicated on the map in blue).

  • Pickup from Processor: Order from us and pick up your beef directly from one of our local processing partners — Stagecoach Meat Company, located in Wiggins, Colorado (click for directions), Colorado Custom Meat Company. Located in Kersey, Colorado (click for directions).

  • Air Cargo: Are you close to a city in green? We are happy to ship your order through Southwest Cargo to an airport in these cities.

  • UPS Shipping: Through our contracted rates we can ship your 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef for a very economical rate directly to your doorstep!

PROCESSING OPTIONS

Choose from one of three processing options:

  • Ground Beef Only

  • Steaks & Ground Beef (includes ribeye, NY strip, filet, sirloin, skirt, flank steak, tri-tip and coulotte steaks plus bone-in short ribs, brisket, and stock bones, with the remainder in ground beef)

  • Rancher's Experience includes steaks, roasts, and ground beef; steaks — rib, NY strips, filet, sirloin, flank, cube/minute tenderized steaks and skirt steak; roasts will be 2-3lbs in size— chuck, arm, inside round, outside round, eye of round , sirloin tip, top blade (a.k.a. flat iron) roast, tri-tip roast, and Coulotte (Picanha steak) roast; ground beef, bone-in short ribs, brisket, stew meat, stock and marrow bones. Fajita and carne asada meat can be added.

On your cut sheet, you will be given options such as ground beef package size and rib cut, depending on your package.

Storage note: As a general guideline, one cubic foot of freezer space allows you to store between 35 and 40 pounds of packaged meat. Please plan for storage accordingly. We do not recommend that you purchase larger shares of beef if you do not own a standalone freezer.


AVERAGE HANGING WEIGHT & PRICING
for larger shares (whole, half, and quarter)

Estimated amounts include processing fees for “Rancher’s Experience,” the most popular processing option. Steaks & Ground Beef and Ground beef only options will have slightly lower processing fees.

Larger shares (whole, half, quarter) are priced by final weight at harvest; though we strive for consistency, healthy animals can vary in weight.
